67 Minutes That Matter
Mandela Day invites each of us to give just 67 minutes of our time in service to others. Those minutes can take many forms:
- Volunteering your time with patients or support services
- Assisting with small but meaningful tasks at the hospice
- Donating essential items or financial support
- Sharing awareness of hospice care and its importance
Every contribution, no matter the size, helps us continue providing comfort, dignity, and compassionate palliative care to those who need it most.
Why It Matters
Hospice care is not only about medical support, but it is also about presence, dignity, and walking alongside people and their families during some of life’s most vulnerable moments.
Your involvement helps ensure that no one in our community has to face that journey alone.
Honour Madiba’s Legacy
Nelson Mandela showed us that service to others is the foundation of a stronger society. Mandela Day is an opportunity to turn that vision into action.
Together, we can honour his legacy by making a difference where it matters most, right here in our community.
